Official NM General Knowledge: What to Expect
Get prepared to earn your New Mexico CDL by taking our NM General Knowledge Practice Test Simulator – the second in our General Knowledge series. This test features 50 carefully crafted, multiple choice questions that will test your driving knowledge and help you to identify any gaps in your understanding. There are questions on hot weather driving, distracted driving, communicating, seeing, braking, skid control and much more. Here are two examples of the types of questions on this test: What should you do when confronted with an aggressive driver? What effects can wet brakes cause?
You will need to answer 80% or more of the questions correctly to pass; however, you can take the test an unlimited number of times to ensure you truly understand the subject matter. There is also a Missed Questions Bank that will allow you to study questions that you answered incorrectly so that you can save time by focusing on the areas that need a bit more attention. All questions on this test are based on the concepts found in the New Mexico CDL manual, just like the real CDL test.
