Before becoming a licensed commercial truck driver in Maryland, you need to pass the state CDL exam. To help you prepare for that important test, we have created an MD CDL General Knowledge Practice Test Simulator. This test is the second in our CDL practice test series and features 50 more questions to challenge your knowledge of such topics as basic vehicle control, winter driving, night driving, speed and space management and much more.

Here are two sample questions to give you an idea of the content of this test: When you turn suddenly while pulling doubles, which trailer is most likely to turn over? Why should you not use the trailer hand valve while driving? If you achieve a passing score of 80% or higher, you should consider yourself ready to take the real CDL test. If you do not achieve a passing score, you can take this practice test an unlimited number of times until you feel comfortable. This test also includes a handy color-coded progress tracker, a powerful Missed Questions Bank, and unlimited attempts to help you absorb the concepts and topics being tested.

No matter if you are planning on driving near Baltimore, Ocean City, Frederick or historic Annapolis one thing will always be the same – you are going to need a CDL. To improve your readiness to take and pass this critical test, take our practice exam now. Get started.
